-The Fiction-
The Truman Show, a critically oclamied movie, for a critically oclamied actor...Is this movie convincing the world that every day life is surrounded by media.
In the movie, there is a man named Truman Burbank who is trapped inside a fake world and does not know it. He is exploited as a reality television character, but he doesn't know it.
In the movie, people are lying, and exploiting Truman for merchandise sales. But the real qestion is, Could this happen to any one, is this a real thing, are we being controlled?
-The Reality-
In real life, it does seem that every one is exploited for media. The actor in the movie, Jim Carey, seems to be exploited, by movie companys using him for references for the famous movies that they produced. But it seems that this could actually be a reality to some people, such as actors and actresses whos lives run around the media. Could this be real, could this be life as some one knows it, It seems not, but who knows, anything is possible...

Good analysis on "The Truman Show" James. For some reason, the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" is playing in my head. "Is this the real life, is this just fantasy." The song reflects this movie and our lives. I think "The Truman Show" represents how the media and the people around us can change how we view things. It's kind of like when some people act differently depending on who they are hanging around with. The movie has some real deep meanings that apply to everyone's lives. Great job bringing that to everyone's attention.
